will a 1j or 2j intake manifold fit on a 7m i just wanna know because i want to change my intercooler setup so it has less bends, and more of a straight shot for boost to flow in

Does someone make an adapter? If not, why not?

no one makes a mass produced adaptor that i know of... you have a few options when adapting it... you could weld the lower runners of the 7m to the high runners of the 2jz... or you could weld the lower runners of the 2jz to the low flange of the 7m etc....

its not THAT hard to adapt...its just more work then necessary when for ALMOST the same price you can get a complete NICER one off ala rons style...

Well now.. if you do it RIGHT, you are going to use larger diameter tubing, which will flow more air, and you will be getting mandrel bends which are constant diameter [you would shit if you pulled out all of your intake piping and looked at all of the bends put in there], and there are going to be LESS bends for the air to go through. You will also be using an aftermarket intercooler, which will be more efficient than the stock unit. It is in my opinion that there will be a horsepower gain. It might not be a ton, BUT it will ready and benefit you for upgrades further down the line.
