Well, it's pretty easy.
What I did with mine:
1. Welded up a set of hardpipes using jcwhitney 180s and my little MIG welder.
2. Bought an "uncrushed" 1G DSM valve for like $30.
3. Traced the flange pattern onto a piece of .250" scrap steel, cut it, and weld it to the pipe. The hole in the pipe can be predrilled or done after welding.
Here's a pic of what it looks like as of now. Next is MAFT install, clean up weld beads, and powdercoat.
