1g don't go part 2 (don't run away coz it's a 1g)

auto sparky says all is in check as far as wiring goes, we have spark, we have fuel and timing is mint

well....... belt is perfect, piston is rocking when at tdc
and dizzy is firing just on #1

should be 10>15 degrees BTDC
(also make sure the leads are in the right order)

if we could get running to set it to 10deg that'd be nice lol

and leads are in correct order, i mean... 1-6 straight line, lead with #1 goes on cap where #1 is... can't screw that up... even if i do have blonde moments occasionally

Ummm it doesn't have to be running to set it static 10 degrees.....

Turn the motor over watching the timing marks stop at 10 degrees then insert the Distributor and line it up at #1.
(making sure it's 10 degrees btdc on the Compression Stroke or your leads will be 180 out)

we pulled the dizzy out and turned it a bit

then it went LOL


what it was, we were getting confused with the rotor arms

so just got missing cylinders to fix (probly spark plugs etc) but it's pissing down with rain so another day lol

for about the past hour we were all like.... damn it sounds like timing, but seriously it's right

hahaaa....

it's gonna be the daily driver for (sn on sf.. john shannon's) missus
economical but twin turbs, i'm sure she'll enjoy it
it has some nice toms racing rims, a bit scratched up but we can get em fixed, has rain guards, euro/aussie/nz new turn signals, front lip... i guess all the jdm tyte stuff hehe

we bought the car for $600 from memory but the engine hadn't been assembled for the past 2-3 owners and the wiring harness had been hacked and grey plug joined to yellow plug and kinda messed up so i had to fix it up as the injectors were all wired up on the wrong order lol
then john still didn't believe my injectors were right so he swapped the orders... 153 > 624 to putting 624 on 153, consequently the car started then stalled LOL gee i wonder why

she'll be a nice daily driver i think
