Mmmmkay, so long story short, I got this car in Summer 2009 as a project car to gain myself a bit of under-hood experience.
It wasn't long after that I realized I was in over my head. :biglaugh:
Fast forward to Fall 2011. I finally made friends with someone who actually knew what they was doing. We naturally started talking about the Supra, and eventually formed a plan to rebuild the motor.
I've learned a lot in the past year (including watching/helping said friend rebuild his f20c, among other things) and now my build is nearing its final stages.

Build basics:
-Built bottom end
-Motor shaved and decked for an MLS HG
-Upgraded oil pump/oil cooler/oil filter relocation kit
-Mishimoto radiator w/electric fans
-57 trim CT-27 w/ceramic coated exhaust housing
-RC 550 injectors
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Apexi SAFC Neo
-GReddy Profec B/C
-Lexus MAF
-Aeromotive AFPR

I'll update the list as I remember things haha.

Looks like a solid build and a great start so far :bigthumb:
I have yet to see anyone use the K-Sport coilovers. Let us know what they are like.
Thanks! I'm definitely excited to see how the coilovers turn out. I'll try to do a write-up on them if I get time.

Don't forget to install the EGR cooler...

ROFL.... I'm said builder of this engine. Since those pics were taken, the EGR cooler has been installed, intake runner, RC injectors, fuel rail, as well as misc. brackets and lift hangers.

I can only imagine how fun of a job that must've been. I mocked up his turbo today and made the softlines for the oil feed and return that will be replacing the factory piping. This should be an extremely fun car when finished.

Looking good! Welcome to the 92 Owners group. I bet we are the only 2 92 owners with 7th gen Celicas as well.
It's a good combination, isn't it? haha

The only reason it appeared to me is, I just replaced the cooler gasket with the engine in the car... fun times!
I can imagine that was quite the task. :aigo:

What part of TN are you guys in?
We're generally around the Murfreesboro area most of the time. I make frequent trips to Brentwood and Franklin, though.

where did you find silicone coolant lines? (heater hoses) and elbows

Came from Ebay, but when compared to Mishimoto equivalents, they are just as good. They're like 7-ply with 5-ply reinforcement. They don't crush anything like the stock hoses do and since they're silicone, they hold up to much higher temps and pressures.

Glad you like, I'm having fun with this one. Michael is a great friend of mine, so I'm taking things even more slow than usual to ensure top notch quality on everything. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things that I have my hands in. Especially when it comes to Cars.

I think for now we're going to leave the 3000 pipe as he's only going to run low boost for the first while, then when he gets a FMIC setup, we'll most likely be deleting it. :( I spent a good bit of time painting it, inlaying blue lettering, and then filing the surface of the lettering to give it a brushed look. It's definitely really nice looking.
