19" wheel and tire questions

if anyone out their is running 19" wheels with lowering spring on their mk3 i need to know tire sizes front and back and also the offset of the wheels. thinking of buying some but dont want rubing issues.

Believe me, if the guy was making enough power, and was smart enough,
He'd know better not to rely on 19's for hooking up.
For that reason, we'll assume he's only doing this for cosmestic/visual appearance.

There are a handful of guys running 19's on their A70's.......
Just be patient.

They'll chime in.

19in rims are too big for the a70 but you should check the link above for all your q's about wheel fitment

Actually, he says he wanted stock ride height, not stock diameter. You could bump up the overall diameter a few inches to fill out the wheel wells, and allow you to get enough sidewall on 19s

ive seen plenty of 19's on mkiiis and they did look pretty good

i just cringe at the thought of new tires

Don't lisen to the haters. 19"s rock IMHO.
Anyway sizes, i run 19/8.5 on the front and 19/10 on the back. Rears are +38 offset running 265/30/19 tyres. The fronts were +35 offset with 235/35/19 but i have to space the wheel out 11mm to clear my wilwood brakes making the offset +24. This made problems for me and the tyres scrubbed in the arches. I have just fitted 215/35/19s on the front now with no problems. They are in fact the same size as the stock rim was.

245/35/19 all 4 corners on axis 7 spokes. fills the wheel well out COMPLETELY, 1st and 2nd are useless at only 13-14 psi (340whp maybe?)

Just roll the fender lip and you should be fine.

Front: 19x8 +35 & 245/35/r19
Rear: 19x9.5 +38 & 275/35/r19

Very low on Tein HA's too.
