Would an 18 x 9 with a 28 offset possibly fit under the front with fender rolling and stretched tires? The rears are a 18X9 24 offset would they work? I'll probably just try it cause my friend is an importer and has these rims...
What does the limit mean? I saw the post with the cobra rims and they are 18x9x28IJ. said:18x9x38 here with 265/35/18's on the front and it's right on the limit.

I think 28's will rub the lip badly.
Eh oh well I'll just go over to the guys house and try them out. Maybe(hopefully) he is wrong about the offset...IJ. said:Yep fronts are rolled a bit from when I had the 8" s and 255's on it.
Sorry can't see it working.

then again on lock as the wider offset is going to make them travel on a wider arc and hit the inners.
i just got them on, they're 17x9 with 26offset. rolling on 275 all round
the offset came out good, i had to roll the fenders so they would not rub.
So is it because they are 18's that they wont fit on my car? I think they would fit with a good fender rolling....jimi87-t said:From the "other" forum:
He also has 275s all around, IMO too wide up front with that offset.
I'm running 17x9s with a 27mm offset and 255s, and rub a little only on hard bumps that slam my car down. I'm going to need to roll the front fenders, but on the rear I could still get away with a wider tire.
