I have H&rs with bilstein struts and cusco pillowball mounts, my wheels are 17x8.5 in the front and 17x9.5 in the rear with yokohama avs tires. I love the way they ride and feel

its really low like 4 inck from the ground,

it lookks good, but living in Pittsburgh, I have to think quite a few streets ahead to make sure I dont go through any speed bumps or anything or i'll rip everything off.....

how much are bilstein struts? i was thinkin bout tokico blues... they are relativly cheap... :D
heres a pic so you can see how they sit:

they are a little bit more than the blues, i believe the bilsteins are around 110 to 120 a piece last time I checked

EDIT: oh, and I have rode H&Rs with the blues before, not too bad of a ride but I still like the bilstiens better

I have 17's and H&R's and Tockico Blues. Mine ride fine and have lasted a long time. However, this seems to be a rare case. I would recommend the Bilsteins or the Koni's and they are what I will upgrade to when these are shot.

Not to bash or anything but I have heard stories of Tokicos blowing quick. IMO Coilovers are a awesome way to go but they are not always an option.

expecially in my case... cuz im poor

Yup I know what you mean. I started on spring and struts too. KYB GR-2's are really cheap and I used them for a while with no problems. Actually many on here use them and I have't heard anything bad yet. People say that they shouldn't be used with lowering springs but I know a few that are using them in that way and they are all doing good still.

damn... expensive imo sooo should i take the tokicos? or quit being cheap and save up and wait??
depends on what you want to do, its your money.... like I said, I used h&rs with the blues for awhile and had no problems once so ever. I just switched because someone offered me a good deal on the bilstiens. anythings going to be better than what you have now

I would wait. It's not that big of a price jump for such a great point of difference. The Koni's and Bilstein's by reputation are a better product. Spend the cash once and get the right product.
