15" Rims?

I know, seems like a stupid question, and who in their right mind would contemplate 15" rims? Well, for starters...will they fit? Or is 16" the minimum rim size for our cars? Reason I'm asking is because I'm looking for rims/tires on the cheap for winter out here, and came across a set of koenig 15" rims with nitto snow tires for a good price (if it's all 4). They came off an '03 IS300, so I just want to make sure they'd fit before trying get them.

Thanks guys!

i think 15" would clear the rear, but definitely not the front.. ive tried it on the front with a set of cressida rims, its a no go

unless you put 15"s on the rear and 16"s on the front.. lol :p

With stock brakes:

Rears, O-K
Fronts, No dice.

Well...Unless you get some super l33t drag racing skinnies of some sort up front.

Boost Lee beat me, drag skinnies will fit up front with spacers (basicly putting the wheel out beyond the caliper).

Anything else is a no-go...

GA70 Brakes are a tad smaller on the front which 15" wheels should clear.

Best part is that GA70 are a next to worthless as the bigger MA70 brakes are such an easy upgrade, I'm sure if you asked nicely on the UK forums, someone would sell you theirs for the price of shipping.

Seems like an pain in the ass to have to bleed the brakes every autumn and spring because you hav 15" winter wheels and brake calipers. If I were you I´d go for 16" stockers.

Yeah, we never got those brakes here (shit, the stock brakes are too small to begin with, WTF was Toyota thinking going even smaller?)

I just went out and got a set of 16" steelies and put really good snow tires on them. No clearance issues on my JZA70 TTR AND the speedo isn't thrown out of whack. win win with 16s.
