I want to get rid of the relay and resistor... Obviously two of the wires on the relay need to be connected... can someone post the diagram of the wring to the relay and resistor? I checked the TSRM but can't find it. (still looking though :))

woohoo, I found it.

You might want to mention which relay and resistor it is that you're trying to eliminate...

[Edit]
Just saw your fuel pump thread - you're talking about the relay and resistor for that one, right? ;)

the 12 volt mod only references one relay and resistor, to my knowledge :)

just by pass it all and put in a new relay you cna use the remote wire on the stock wirieng

Yeah, I'm going to do that eventually but you have to do the 12v mod first cuz 9 volts won't activate most relays :)

What do you plan on gaining by eliminating the fuel pump relay? Under boost it is already it getting 12v with the relay. Do you just want a hotter running fuel pump with a shortened lifespan?

You will be working the fpr overtime and have decreased fuel volume from the pump when you really need it, under boost. With a stock fpr the idle mixture would probably be too rich also, using extra gas for no reason at $3.50 a gallon.

Finally, a man with a brain. Imho that mod has to be one of the dumbest I've ever heard of. Does more harm than good and is completely unneed in most cases.

You know a better mod for the fuel pump? Use a good quality Bosch 30 amp (or similar) relay in place of the 15 year old stock one, and run a heavier gauge wire from the battery to the relay and from the relay to the pump. That is a better way to get higher voltage at the pump and still retain the relay.

Or use a Bosch Relay to trigger the lockoff solenoids on your LPG system after ditching the Gas system totally and get 104 fuel at 1/3 the price of pump gas! ;)

or spare explaining to numerous people why that's your gas tank, and not a keg in your hatch.....

i all way's had issue of runing lean down low but thsi time around i got hole new set up so i may not need to do ti

and big aron it easyer to tune when you have set fule persure

other then that do ti if you have to and the pump if remmber right run at 11 volts not 12
