We are building this 89 supra 7mgte for fun and so far i think we are doing good.

motor is stock but fulyl rebuilt with hks hg and arp studs.
stock manifold with adapter plate to fit bigger turbo
Bullseye 258 turbo with .70a/r turbine.
3" downpipe
custom 24x12x3 fmic
tial bov
tial WG
SDS EM6-f with coilpacks
630cc injectors
aem wideband

we are only street tuned right now and running 26x8.5x15 slicks

this bullseye turbo hits hard at close to 4800rpm and never lets off.

stock clutch went when we really tried to get out of the hole, now we have a stage 4 bully clutch

shooting for 11s pass by next weekend. will run 110octane to up the boost to 20psi.

not sure if these are good times since i specialize in FWD german cars but so far this car has been lot of fun.

with the stock clutch we were taking it easy out of the hole so we only got
2.0 60ft wich was really easy coming out, when we raised the rpm the stock clutch fried on the spot.

BTW, what ignition advance and AFRs are your running at 15 psi?

good job at the track.

once you can launch a little harder and get the 60' down to 1.7 range it will really make a difference. if thats the turbo i think it is, it really doesnt start getting into its power range until about 17-18psi. it should be real fun at 20psi. good luck!

we are running conservative right now since it's only street tuned, we are running low 11 a/f and about 16 degree total timing at 15psi 94 octane.

with 110 octane and 20psi i will try 19-21 total timing and run more 11.5 11.7 a/f. since right now we are 10.9 11.2 a/f.
