I think he means a solid rear diff Titan has them for the MK4 but Im not sure who makes them for the MK3 just buy a 2 way rear diff Kazz makes a nice one and its probably the same price as the spool but still streetable.

Someone educate me on why a "spool" is wanted for the rear? Wouldnt wheel hop destroy it if it were locked up, plust tight turns would suck too, right?

turning and spool doesn't mix. but a spool is very good for drag, as it keeps the tires spinning at the same speed. also, because it is solid (no moving parts), it is more durable than an lsd (again, for drag only). Hope this helps.
