Well, for the past few months Ive been getting terrible mileage, i used to think it was the way i drive... constantly boostin and whatnot :icon_bigg ... but even at those circumstances, my mileage is way off..
I put $20 in the tank, which gives me roughly 7.4 gallons, and i set my trip meter, ill get 70 miles if i drive slow [not boosting often].. if i drive the way i drive [fast] I'll be lucky if I get 60...
i figure if im filling up 7.4 gallons and getting 70 before my tank is empty, something is definitly wrong.. 10mpg is horrible, thats lambo mileage..

Ive already ruled out the possibility of a fuel leak. The tank as well as the lines are in good condition, no leaks. The plugs, wires, and air filter is brand new.
There was a sensor on the thermostat housing thats been broken off for quite some time, and it took me a while to locate one, It was shipped to me today, but i still do not no what sensor it is.
Heres a picture of the sensor (THE GREEN)[this is not my car, but the same sensor]

Im thinking my gas mileage could be cause my a faulty MAF sensor or maybe that sensor thats missing..
Can anybody help me out? I spend $80 a week on gas, on avg.
Thanks in advance

i think that part you ciricled is a temperature sensor that tells the ecu that the engine is warm and to go into closed loop and let the o2 sensor give the readings to the ecu. If its broken it would run rich. Thats your problem.

That's your water temperature sensor connection. If it's not connected your car should be throwing an error code of 22.

If I were you, I'd start with seeing if your car is giving you any codes. Even if it's not displaying a check engine light, if your car isn't running right, there's a chance that your car could be giving you a code with out the light going on. I had this happen to me when my AFM took a dump on me. The AFM passed the diagnostic tests that I was supposed to do according to the tsrm.

For more information regarding checking error codes please consult the following link:
