I was looking around trying to see what stock Turbo Models run in the 1/4 mile also looking for stock W.H.P

Feel free to post your numbers please list what mods you have done if you have any.(So people can have a better idea.)

So i found this wondering on how correct everyone thinks this is.
Stock times

1986 Toyota Supra 7.0 15.4 (Seems odd cause i thought 86 was N/A only also not sure if its MK2 or MK3 there talking about)
1988 Toyota Supra 7.9 16.0 (Also makes me wonder .8 off the 89 model? But if its non-Turbo wouldn't it be slower)
1989 Toyota Supra Turbo 6.6 15.2
1991 Toyota Supra Turbo 7.1 15.6

Thanks Jordan

hot rod magazine recorded the best time for a stock mk3 that i know of -- I believe it was 14.9sec (dec 1986 issue). Most magazines ranged 15.2-16.2sec for the turbo

As for stock rwhp -- I dynoed my first mk3 completely bone stock and put down 180-185rwhp on a super old-school dyno in my autoshop class (the kind that had a dial/gauge to read hp instead of a computer screen).

Bone stock

I went 15.1 @ 91mph with a 2.2 60'

With an intake and shims in the wastegate (10 psi falling to 7) STOCK exhaust/everything else I went 14.33 @ 95 mph with a 2.0 60'

With a 3" exhaust 11 psi I put down 256/285 and went a 13.8 @ 99mph with a 2.0 60'

With better driving a 14 is there stock.

This was my old 91 Turbo Targa.

I have my an old youtube video of a shimmed wastegate stock exhaust run, not my 14.3 pass but a 14.5 @ 94 pass.

1987 turbo. 87 cars hit the showrooms in late 1986 -- just like you can probably buy 2010 cars right now...

Hmmm whats that for IJ....

Anyway i didnt think a N/A could run that quick with so little mods. So a N/A can do that but a turbo Model only runs 15s also WTF i have had a N/A with Full Exhaust Headers and intake and my Basically stock turbo seems way way faster.

Only my N/A was auto my Turbo is Stick

Turbo cars always feel faster then what they really are! I was at the track, only 1/8th mile and was running a 10.2 @ 71mph. My 60ft was a 2.5 though I'm thinking thats what killed my times. But I raced a TA on the street and beat him on stock boost, and I raised the boost to 10-11psi and I still had slower times then him. He was running mid to low 9's? He is an auto, I am manual. R/T's were around .2**-.5**

Yes I did spin in first a little bit and just scratched 2nd and 3rd. It wasn't a prepped track, it is on the pit lane at one of our speedways here. I was on street tires also, everyone was spinning. My friends evo8 was spinning at least half of the track maybe more. He still had the second fastest car there though, 7.7 @ 93mph.

He wasn't at the track last time i went. He has slips for mid 9's and I was running low 10's. I beat him on the street though, thats what I don't get, especially when i upped the boost a little shouldn't I have been beating his time? You would expect more traction at the track rather then the street right?
