Hi, does anybody know how ordering replacement parts for 1/24 scale model works for Fujimi?

I have the 1/24 Drift King SUPRA TURBO A Fujimi 04005 model and I need to order a few replacement parts. I need to replace some damaged parts.

I had e-mailed them at support@fujimimokei.com, but no reply yet.

I would appreciate any information.

The actual model is really cheap. Probably easier just to get another one. I remember paying less then $10 for it.

the kits extremely cheap being its curb side and low detail so just grab a new one.

Where did you get yours from? That's really cheap.

As odd as it sounds, I rather finish the one I have versus buying new one. It's just that feeling of not completing the one I have.

I guess it's kind of like the real car. I rather work on the one I have versus buying another one. I have an N/A Supra and if I wanted turbo, I rather do a motor swap versus buying an actual turbo car, even though from an economical point of view it would be cheaper and less labor to just buy a turbo car. Know what I mean?

But I do see from your perspective also. Perhaps I can get to the local hobby store and ask them if they can get Fujimi replacement parts order.

If you really get into it you will start buying full kits for one small part haha. A few members have seen how many models I have ( way too many) lol

Are you talking about how you need one little part, but the replacement comes in "trees", you know like "A Parts" trees, and you end up getting parts you don't need with the one you do need?

So...how many models do you have? haha

No I am talking about some times buying a full kit just to part it out for another project. And I have maybe 30 unbuilt ones? Started a few but never finished any haha. Well I did finish a few but they were crappy ones that were ugly so I won't count them.

Oh, I see...kind of like buying a Toyota Soarer/SC 300 model kit and buying a MKIV Supra model kit so you can take the plastic 2JZGTE and put it in the Soarer/SC300 model, is that right? Or buying a kit because it had rims you like and using those wheels for another model car? Ah, I see.

Well, I got to see what the local hobby store says about me getting replacement parts. Probably this weekend.

The model kit doesn't even show up on the catalog anymore; I called a local hobby store earlier today. They were friendly.

Well, I think I might be able to still make it work somehow. Time for me to...I guess the correct term would be to "MacGyver" the parts I need to finish it.
