im thinking about going 1/2 NA-T and i have an option to get alot of stuff for cheep. i was offered a lex afm, 550s, IC, Piping, turbo, BOV, boost controler and manifold for 500ish. i already have most of the parts that are not included, oil pump, turbo back exhaust (stock dp, elbow, and cats, 2.5 in cat back), and the oil pan. if i did this i would install air/fuel and boost guages as well as a MHG and ARP bolts. ok now the questions:

1. would i need a safc
2. would i need the oil cooler
3. would i need to retard the timing
4. whats the most reliable place to tap into for the oil feed into the turbo without going into the block
5. am i missing anything other than oil and water lines?

You can not use the Karman Vortex meter with the GE computer. An oil cooler is a good idea.
No need to do anything with timing except leave it stock. If you are going for real big power, then you might need to do something with it. Why not tap the block for oil? That is what Toyota did.
