Has the car ever run since you've owned it? Check all of the "engine" grounds in the engine bay. Verify that the timing belt is not broken. Check engine wiring harness connections at the ECU.

Do this:
Take the thickness of the OEM pressure plate (where it attaches to the flywheel) and subract that number from the thickness of the new, thicker pressure plate. Buy bolts that are that much longer than stock. Do you have any pictures?

That upper tie bar is not heavy at all. Do as others have suggested. Get the unsprung weight down, and maybe remove some interior if you don't care about that. Got a big ass box with subs/amps in the car? Ditch them.

Tanya..you know my thoughts on this, though I'd urge you (even though I was in the Marines for four years) to join the Navy or Air Force. Marines, however, do kick ass. Get that GED, talk to that recruiter. Good luck!

Steve..you can take the stock hard line off, cut it about 1" from the dampener, and have a hydraulics shop form a bead on the end. the hard line is 5/16" OD.

As far as I know, the secondary cat is roughly 12" long. Chances are, you have some aftermarket parts under the car, or the exhaust was made to fit a car with aftermarket exhaust components under the car.
