Awhile back I saw a writeup on rebuilding a differential using a solid spacer kit instead of the crush sleeve to set the preload. If anyone knows where it is or has any info on doing this I would appreciate it.
Thanks
I got a new sensor and same results. It is also reading boost lower than it should, boost guage reads 14 psi and maft pro reads 11 psi (baro mode set to read at key on). Is it possible the input on the maft pro is causing this? Is there anything else I can check? This sucks, I've been able to...
Im in columbus, ohio and searching the internet said it has an altitude of 800 ft. After the car is warmed up from a drive the MAP is actually lower at around 11-13 at idle. I checked the voltage going to the sensor at the plug and it is a solid 5v.
Thanks
I just installed MAFT Pro running speed density. MAP is reading 89.5 with key on and 15-17 at idle. I was expecting 100 with key on and 30-50 at idle. I've tried multiple vac sources with the same results. Boost guage reads 20-21 in Hg at idle so I'm pulling good vac. My question is are readings...
I just installed MAFT Pro running speed density. MAP is reading 89.5 with key on and 17 at idle. I think these are low, I've tried multiple vac sources with the same results. Boost guage reads 20-21 in Hg at idle so I'm pulling good vac. I am trying to confirm these are low before I buy a new...
Just posted this the other day for someone. Here is my car with Bilstein's set to the middle spring perch front and rear. Car is on 18 inch wheels. Hope this helps.
here is my car with bilsteins and stock springs. The bilsteins have 3 ride height settings out of the box. the attached pic (if it works) is on the middle ride height setting with 18 inch wheels. If you go with bilsteins there is a threaded spring perch kit you can buy making ride height fully...
sorry this doesn't help your decision but for one our car comes factory with coilovers. if you want to slam your car and don't car about handling get some lowering springs. if you want to lower your car and care about handling then spend alot of money get some jap coilovers. if you want to lower...
correct me if im wrong, the preload on the differntial. Put your car in gear and go under your car and see if you can rotate your drive shaft back and forth. That play in the driveline is in the differential, I have the same problem and I'll tackle that another day.
to help, you could run a lower temp thermostat. What is the outside air temp where you are at? To have excessive heat in the engine bay in the dead of winter may not normal but in a high heat environment heat in the bay is normal.
edit: just read you have a header. you probably don't have a...
unless I missed it, you are running a walbro fuel pump with a stock fpr. Any way for you to check your fuel pressure? It may be too high causing you to run rich and the screw being out of your afm will raise FC.
No you don't have to remove the bumper to install that IC, just the plastic belly pan under the car. I installed mine from under the car. The only hard part is deciding which way to use and mount the brackets.
Found some info on Energy Suspension's web site.

Sorry for the dumb question but does the front come with upper and lower control arm bushings and the rear come with just the upper? Also what is the best way to get these installed, should I take my control arms to a shop with a press or can these be done with out a press.
Thanks
Just double check all plug connectors and make sure you got all of your grounds back on. No spark sounds like a ground missing or loose plug connection.
I think it is illegal because if you wreck and your door is jamed it will be nearly impossible to bust it to get out. Just a thought. If it does break in an accident I visualize sharp blade like peices.
