Lol seriously....But im going by experience .This is my 3rd 1j sc. Its either im just lucky to get perfect engines or its becuase i never had a downpipe. oh well only time will tell.
Actually if those ceramic babies spins more than it is doing right now they have a greater chance of disintegrateing. I have a 3 inch exhause split to 2 1/2 in the rear with no cats or resonator so im still getting most of the backpressure out at a decent rate ,the other thing that puzzels me is...
Its been at 20 psi for almost 2 years and still no smoke . Im running a hks evc and a hks fcd on stock fuel with the exception of a supra tt pump and 12v mod.They loose effiency after about 120 mph or so .I am automatic with a stock dp thats probably one of the reasons they haven start...
Masterpower turbos are great ,my homy have a t70 and its a nice unit .How much power i can make on this turbo safely 810041 60-1 “P” .68. T4 . Big Shaft .
High temp silicone does the job .Mines wasent causing it to break up but i saw little hairline cracks on it .Check your map or tps sensor .str8_6 it might be your temp sensor going bad.
yup my 1j first 1j sc had the same problem and it turned out to be the fuel filter , too bad i found out too late and my engine started knocking on startup :nono:
