Of coarse it can, I used to run the same setup. If it's a 3rd gen engine/ECU you'll want a TV04 and TP15 patch harnesses, or you can hard wire it if you wish.

I believe dual thickness refers to a gap between the inner and outer sheet metal such as the 4th gen firebird/camaro, this will cause a problem when trying to roll flat.
