I'm still new to the Supra's but are you running stock oil pressure?, I've seen really high oil pressure from aftermarket oil pumps do the same thing. I personally experienced it on my RX7 TO4B.
I let it run a while and all was good.
:biglaugh:
they are trashed... well not all but alot... threads are gone. Also figured someone might have already been down this road.
plus I'll get dirty looks when I go in there and consume 30-60 minutes of their time only to spend $10.
So yeah I'm new to the car, but does anyone off hand know the size of the nuts, and I mean various nuts on the manifold-motor, manifold-turbo, turbo-elbow?
My car's nuts are so rusted up and they have that funky locking mechanism on them that I don't want to re-use them.
What would be...
You know, was driving my 2hr drive to work and thought:
I was reading that the 7MGTE has two knock sensors? Wow... anyway I suppose that is because of the length of the motor.
So is it possible that the actual problem is the knock sensor not defrentiating knock because of the amount of...

I understand resonant frequency (mechanical resonance) I beleive, it destroys bridges, buildings etc...
I just wanted to know what component actually starts to resonate that is destroying the bearings...I suppose its the bearings themsleves since they are of particular design...

I really like this car and want to keep it. The guys that had it before me really babied it. I think it has around 120K.
I pulled the valve cover off and checked the cams cylinders...
Cool thanks....
Well I just went to reposition the care in the driveway and pop, hte crank pulley came off...
The key was gone, the crank keyway was damaged. It looks like one side of the keyway is fine the other is a little eaten down and warped look to it.
What about welding the key...
