Ok, so i have been out of town and unable to work on it. back at it this weekend though. Here are my options. #1. double check the timing on everything. 2. the fuel is no good. do i need to replace the fuel pump if this is the case? 3. its the starter relay. how would i check this/replace this...
yeah, i did. pretty sure it was the blue wire with the orange stripe. anyway, its grounded. However, it never was the security system at all. even with it taken out, its still doing the exact same thing. just one big click comin from the ECU
Ive checked the fuses. Have not checked the starter relay, nor tested the ignition switch. As far as i know, all the grounds are in place, Although i still think its weird that something is grounded to the intake manifold. isnt that aluminum? I replaced the plug that attaches to the starter from...
ok, so im pretty much out of ideas, here is what has happened up to this point...
i have a 89 7m-ge. i blew the HG and it sat for about a year and a half. Finally got the time to fix it.
After putting it all together, i turn the key and....nothing. There is a click coming from the ECU down...
