I rewired everything and put an air filter on and it idles perfect now (with afm plugged in) everything seems perfect but as soon as I touch the throttle it dies... still need to figure out why but at least progress is being made :)

Update : After pulling all the wires out and doing a clean up I noticed that I had forgotten to ground 1 wire. So Im going to re wire everything and make it tidy and see if that gets me anywhere

So had no luck last night trying to figure this out. I check over everything no leaks etc. So Im going to try re wire everything

Thanks for the replys, im nearly positive its the right AFM- I just remembered I have had it running with the AFM plugged the first time I fired it up but at the time I didn't have my hose claps done up from my intercooler piping. This makes me think it has something to do with the idle...

Hi there I have just put a 1jz-vvti into my car and im having some kind of issue :aigo: The engine turns over and fires, starts up fine them dies 2 seconds later. However if I unplug them AFM it idles no worries. The car is a Nissan so the fuel pump is pretty much wired directly. Hopefully...
