i know there are differences in 87/89 engines, would i have problems with the ECM an ECU and wiring harness from a 87 and the engine from an 89?

Hey all i scored a 87 supra turbo a few months ago and spun a rod bearing almost instantly:nono: i opted to just get a 100% complete engine from got-jdm.com since it would cost around the same to rebuild it, i pulled the old engine an tranny and got everything dropped back in and everythings...
