ok so i went back over everything and i put the ps hose back on. its still reading 11psi and i didn't mess with anything else. im stumped....... how much vac should it run stock i thought normal engine vac is 14 psi idk and suggestions?

i pulled the accordion tube off the inlet to remove the washers from my wastegate aka the shims. on the bottom side of the accordion tube there is a small hose just chillin. it wasn't hooked to anything does anyone kno where this go's. also it was reading 20psi on the vac side when i looked...

i understand the search button lol but i couldn't find the year make model part im not gonna go pull a noob and buy some shit thats not gonna work i have the afm i got it with the car he siad i need the injectors from a lex but didnt say what year or model im sure its frustrating when you see...

look dont bash my thread i have built lots of cars this is my first mk3... i saw somewhere that you could use lexus v8 injectors and the afm to increase you air and fuel by 25 percent.... im asking for help not a smart ass remark about my knowledge of cars...so if u wanna help thats fine if not...

what year lex do i have to get them outta for my mk3 i kno they have to be 550cc but does the year matter and will they plug n play link below will these work thanks...

i have a 3in exhaust from the d/p its just srt8 pipes nothing else it runs like a champ :bigthumb:

dam well from what i understand i should shim it and call it a day i love this car so much its gonna be a good time i got to drive it in the snow lastnight it was ok till out of nowhere 5 iches came down :kickinthenuts:

how much would it cost to have this done and i also hear it could be a bad rod bearing but i dont think so when i did the oil change it lookd fine and the guy i got it from great rep said he did a head gasket like 40xxx miles back

i tryd 5w30 didn't really help how do i got about checking to see if it is the shims and how hard is it to adjust them i am :runaway::runaway::runaway:decent with a wrench just to be honest i know nothing about this motor

hey i am new to here and i just got my first mk3 its been great but the only concern is that the valves are kinda loud. are these motors typically noisy? im running a 10w40 oil level is full its not super bad but you can deff hear them and it runs great no smoke or misfire. anyone have any ideas...
