My setup is:
RTX Mystique Machined/Black ET38 (offset) | HB 73.1 | 18 x 8.0 | 5x114.3 Front RIMS
Falken FK-453 235/40 FRONT
RTX Mystique Machined/Black ET42 (offset) | HB 73.1 | 18 x 890 | 5x114.3 Rear RIMS
Falken FK-453 265/35R18 REAR
No rubbing period, but the Falkens have a rounded edge...
Look at the HKS Catback. Of all the one's I have owned its the best. 3", no drone... loud, but not annoying. (my opinion)
Plus.. its twin tip and looks identical to original (other than bigger, newer, etc.. : )
Fuel pump is in the fuel tank. ECU for it is the ECU for the entire car. Not quite sure what you are asking really.
Car ECU should be behind the glove box (general position) - although... I am more of a MKIII guy then a MKII guy.
If you're asking about the EFI relay, thats different and...
Thanks for the comments! : )
Definitely crazy drivers... and where I live is super bad. People lately tend to think the lanes mean nothing and that traffic lights are put up only for Christmas decorations or something...
Weird thing is... used to be a lot of fast drivers (which I am used to)...
Good news.
A local person I have come to know fairly well in the Supra scene (Tyler) and his dad (Lawrence) came to view the carnage that was gracing the floor of my garage. Turns out they had a rust free 87 burgandy shell. After a massive amount of care and effort, they transferred my 7M...
Seeing as this is becoming a bit more active... I thought I should actually update my build post.
I have bad news and good news about the car really.
I will have a second post following this one about the good news.
So... bad news. (photos) my 88 was decimated while taking a left turn and...
The AFM already runs you pig rich, isn't your injector size going to make it worse? I thought 640 CC was as big as you would run (550 being most popular)
I think 255's with that perfect fit is pretty good. I have 265's on mine with a +42 offset that probably has the same space on the inside, but would rub if I was dropped as low as you are. 275's can fit, but you will need a bit of gap or rolled as Brandon said.
St sways on mine as well. My sole complaint is that I always have a hint of a feel that the car is going Togo sideways on a curve under acceleration. Could be just that I'm not used to the lack of body roll. For straight line, though, 18" rims just don't have enough sidewall. Luckily I don't...
The thing about rubber is more of a Why? I have 265's on 18" rims in the rear with a +42 offset and they don't stick out. Plenty of room for BBK if I want. However, this means a stiff sidewall, so not the best for off the line take off because no flex. My wheels don't poke out but if I was at a...
I have the bill somewhere, the LSD sticker was under 10 bucks from the stealership and the fluid was reasonable. I bought 2 bottles, but only used the one plus a little from the second.
Agreed, the 18x9 +33 with a 255/35R18 tire will put you even with the outer quarter panel. (maybe just slightly past, but not visually). You will probably only rub on really big bumps. My old Work wheels were a +42 offset with 255's and the quarter panel lip would just touch the sidewall top...
Also, copying my post from the Wheel Fitment post...
This is my new wheel setup. You can judge the offset by the pics...

Bit of an update... I cleaned up a 3.73 LSD Diff and its currently on the car.
New diff lube (Toyota LSD fluid), new breather cap, new decal (for LSD) and new plug. Wire brush and bead blasted.
I find the fuel economy suffers a little with this setup, but highway is improved due to the taller...
