    Adjutable Outer Tie Rods?

I am wondering if adjustable outer tie rods exist for the MK3 Supra. I'm talking where you can adjust how high the tie rod sits to prevent bumpsteer. I have seen them for my 240SX before. Looked around on driftmotion and 935, didn't see anything, looked around on here a bit too... Thanks! Alex

No Start (Starter won't do anything)

Hrm, it started just fine couple days ago...seems like the starter would turn a little and just not get enough power to crank the motor with that error...

No Start (Starter won't do anything)

Alright...I'm sure there is a thread that answers this somewhere...but I've searched and searched and read through the 7MGE forums to no avail. After wrecking my DD today, got in my 87 N/A to drive it today and the starter will not turn. Car wakes up fine, radio and such comes on, but when I...

    7M 240SX with 1JZ brackets?

The brackets I'm talking about don't mention 7M, they are 1JZ-in-a-240SX bracket. http://www.enjukuracing.com/zerolift-autolab-mount-chassis-240sx-p-9156.html I thought a 1JZ drops into a MK3 supra if you have the "late model round engine mounts"? That's from the supras.nl 1JZ swap report...

    7M 240SX with 1JZ brackets?

Alright, I've found some successful swap pics/vids, but it's all from 240sx websites where everyone is 7M haters and just say to do an SR swap... Here goes... I have a 7MGTE in the garage, and a 240sx that I daily drive. I had no intention of this upon purchasing either of the two-but, let me...

    random overheating

Here we go...more specific symptoms now. After driving for a long time (like a road trip), if I then stop at a red light and sit there idling for like 5 minutes, when I start moving again, it will overheat. I turn the car off for a couple hours, come back, and it's fine. And if after that...

    random overheating

Alright, I replaced the radiator cap, and again, it hasn't done it since...I recently replaced the upper radiator hose, but it has done it since then... I can't find any other leaks in the coolant system, but it's never low on coolant which is the only reason I don't suspect BHG. It's almost as...

    random overheating

So my 87 n/a will just randomly overheat sometimes. Whenever it does, the coolant reservoir is completely full and overflowing. Then once it cools down the radiator is low. And all the time when I drive it, when it's cold before it gets going, i hear bubbling in the dash and the low coolant...

Alternator Fuse/related harness or something worse?

Alright, took me a while, but I pulled each fuse in the fuse box and it would still blow that 30A at the alt. fuse. I shoudl have followed the engine harness since that is easier and removable, but since I am prepping a turbo swap, I figured the engine harness is already getting replaced. SO I...

Alternator Fuse/related harness or something worse?

Toyota didn't have a fusible link. I put in a 30A auto reset circuit breaker, so now when it would blow the fuse every time i turn off the car, it just resets. Not perfect, I know there is still a short somewhere, but temporary fix while i look for the short. Is there some other toyota parts...

I saw your post, that did officially fix it?

Alternator Fuse/related harness or something worse?

I had been having charging/low voltage issues. They were slowly getting worse, so I was checking fuses, and saw a wire in there for the alternator fuse that was kinda melted. I'd never seen or heard of a fusible link, so I thought it was just rigged in there... The folks at advance auto...

    Recommended Exhaust System/Muffler

Catback is replacing all the exhaust from the Catalytic-converter back to the end of the car. I have a noname resonator and a magnaflow twin tip, 2.25" piping from the manifold-back, and no catalytic converter. When I first got it put on, it was just the magnaflow and no resonator. was very...

    Temp Gauge Issue

The temp sensors are pretty cheap at any parts store, come with a lifetime warranty, and are easy to install. Also, there are two similar pieces in similar places: the coolant temp sensor, and the temperature switch. The dummies at the parts store argued with me, telling me they were the same...

    Weirdest Coolant Symptoms

I've already fixed the issue, but the mechanical engineer in me wants an explanation...(also this will be here for people searching As I would rev up, the temp gauge would read colder. Not just drop off like I expect from the sensor reading air, but just go lower, exactly proportional to...

who here stands by the 7m and have 350+ hp reliably

I have a 240sx, a supra, and a 7MGTE in the garage soon to replace my supra's 7MGE. The thought that did cross my mind was that I could rebuild the 7MGE and turn that little 130horsepower nissan go kart into quite a beast... Just to throw another engine in the comparison...an SR20DET has...

To jack up the supra... (Need Help )

I removed my diff drain plug with a 24mm socket today, but stripped my fill plug with a 24mm socket. Don't know if it was too big (I did try a 23mm but couldn't get it on), or maybe I just came at a bad angle.

    Differential stud stuck

I recently bought an LSD, and today I was attempting to replace the rear main seal just for good measure before putting it in the car. All of the bolts holding the cover on came right off no problem, but the studs that bolt it to the car gave me issues. The bottom ones were never there, I got...
