Not to make another stupid thread but Im looking for the Deminsions of the R154 Trans for my swap project, I cant find anything online and Im not having any luck finding one locally. So if someone is willing to help me out it would be Greatly Appricated!!! Thanks
I wouldn't reuse a torn apart U-joint either, there chaep enough to throw away... But my concern was I was lead to believe they did not come apart at all on the MKIII Supras and for my swap all I need is the slip yoke to adapt to my driveshaft. The original plan was to use a TH400 but now...
Thanks guys... Now can anyone tell me how long a R154 w/1jz bellhousing is from mounting face(where bolts to motor) to center of drive shaft yoke(where the driveshaft starts)?
Thanks for responding! I already have a drive shaft the high quality i wanna use and I could never find a straight answer and everyone I found for sale was cut off with about a foot of the driveshaft so I assumed it didnt come apart
Im having trouble getting a clear answer... Can the Slip Yoke from the R154 transmission be taken apart at the U-joint from the drive shaft without cutting it?
Basicly can I get a Adapter U-joint and put the MKiii Slip yoke on to another driveshaft?
Thanks guy
