I don't think they look good either, lol. Could it be because the valves weren't closing all the way due to the timing? "3: I usually have someone crank while I move the distributor back and forth until the car starts." Could you explain that to me?

I just replaced the head gasket on this car, but now it won't start. It turns over, but doesn't start. I pulled the plugs and checked them, they smell like gas. I don't think it's a fuel issue. The timing is correct on everything and I can't find anything wrong at all. Help.

Slight problem and I need some help. The marks I made on my timing belt were wiped off and I can't find them. If the #1 piston is at TDC, how can I align my cams correctly? Can I use the factory marks on my cam sprockets?

In which order do I tighten them on the 7M-GE?

I'm talking about the ones in the spark plug valley. I have it all ready to be pulled off then. :) Is there a spot for a screw driver or a pry bar between the head and block to pull it off without damaging anything, or do I need to do it all by hand? It's really appreciated.
