2010's been a boring car year, but exciting life year...my girl and i bought a place in march so i told myself driving would be OFF this season...yea, that didn't happen. besides switching back to popups, east coast bash was super fun, and should tide me over until the fall, even though wrecked...
what a year! i accomplished the single goal i had one year ago which was to drive to and from the track for nearly every event spending minimal cash (no trailer or hotel). thanks to clubloose opening the etown track every month and george's amazing work on the car, that was possible and this...
well there's a TON of coverage from the clubloose weekend killer a couple weeks ago. i only made the saturday runnings and ended up tearing a rad hose so i'm looking forward to the clubloose east coast bash on may 30 & 31.
there's a bunch of great videos from the entire weekend on the blog...
haha, i completely understand where everyone is coming from and you'll notice i did cut the exhaust shorter...not because of the haters, but i don't want to ruin the turbo/manifold if i rub against the wall =)
as for the shifter...we're not concerned with shorter shifts, but confirmed shifts...
5 lug and gram lights 57d wheels...gonna do the fronts this weekend
i added some bling too...circuit sports coolant tank, just ran out of hose though =)

hey thanks again. the exhaust is straight through, genuine toyobasan! that is i have the 1j downpipe to a subaru wrx midpipe (old one we had laying around) which i shortened about 5in to bolt up to an s13 rear.
here's some pics...
hello, can someone confirm which lead is used for running an aftermarket tach? it looks like number 17 on the jza70 1jz-gte ecu is rpm1, but there is also an rpm2.
what is everyone using?
thanks!

hey thanks! the motor and ecu are all stock for now. you could get a powerfc from some of the stores on ebay, if not then definitely on yahoo auctions japan. there some people on the forums that live/have an account for yahoo japan and will bid on them for you.
thanks again!

first event! fell in love with the car all over again, the motor feels nice, i didn't have a tach so really couldn't push it (haven't even confirmed a rev limiter)...other than that, great time driving. but of course it wouldn't be an event unless i lose a front bumper =D
next stop: summit...
well, after countless sunrise-welcoming nights and tons of help from everyone, she's finally back on the street looking gangster, not ghetto (with stock 15s and no sideskirts on an aggressive kit =p) and sounds even better. this is one of those moments i could say i'm high on life (or maybe it's...
we ran ruckus brackets with nismo mounts, gotta say they sit pretty nice. only downside is the twins sit against the firewall so if you're trying to run heater lines you'll have to do some fabbing.
thanks again!
