    What's with the "JDM" everything?

I'm not an expert but... The reason "ricers" like JDM parts so much is because JDM engines usually make more power when compared to USDM engines. The reason for this is that Japanese gas uses higher octane levels so compression can be higher. Also, there tend to be special runs of some...

    Upgrading my computer

I have pretty close to the same setup as you: DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert 939 AMD 3800+ (San Diego I think?) 2 gigs Patriot RAM 2-3-2-5 2 x BFG 8800 GTS OC in SLI etc. etc. I have it watercooled and can get a nice overclock out of it, but I haven't had time to mess around with it...

HKS EVC VI thoughts and opinions?

Anybody have an HKS EVC VI (6)? Any opinions? Looking at springing for one of these or the Apexi AVCR but can't decide. It looks like they both have the same features and they're about the same price as well.

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Just looking for confirmation before I take the plunge here... Fronts: 18x9.5 +35 225/40/18 or 245/40/18? I know for the rears that I can go pretty big, something like 275/35/18, but I'm looking to get the largest contact patch/fattest tires on the fronts that I can without having to...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Do you think the 18x9.5 +35 offset with a 275/35/18 tire would fit up front without rolling or pulling? Looking to go as big as I can up front and match it in the rear. Lowered on H&R springs if that helps any...

Hi-flow cats: Which one is best?

Here's a noob question: I'm getting a DDP put on real soon and want to put on a 3" hi-flow cat. When I get them, how do the flanges mate up? I understand that the DDP mates up to the stock cat flange, but they're obviously different sized piping... does an exhaust shop have to weld on flanges...

Help!!! Hit the red line now its missing bad!!!

sounds similar to a problem I just had... bad coil, my 2-5 coil was bad. It'd fire on 2, but not 5. Try swapping the coils around to see if the bad cylinder moves around. one good way to tell is to pull the injector clip on the cylinder and see if the car keeps missing or gets worse. bad...

    Radiator..

Anybody have opinions or experience with this fan controller? https://935motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=79_14_147&products_id=1360 Looks like it'll make electric fan installation easy, plus provide gauge readings. I'm thinking of going dual electrics myself...

Modifying things for army navy fittings

Ok, if I do get a new cooler, I'll go that route. But I'm really just asking a general type of question and just threw "oil cooler" out as an example. I'm kinda thinking of modding the turbo oil lines, water lines, etc., just for kicks. I kinda like the look. Maybe I could redo the fuel...

Modifying things for army navy fittings

Don't want to get too crazy, I picked my supra up not too long ago... I was thinking of installing an oil filter relocation kit and figured I could possibly swap more oil lines over to AN lines if it wasn't too hard.

Modifying things for army navy fittings

if I weld on the fitting, isn't there the possibility that I could go through the tube wall and block the inside? Thanks, I didn't know they made tube sleeves. But how do you install them? Welding? Do I have to bust out a tap and die and thread something on?

Modifying things for army navy fittings

Just wondering how hard/easy it would be to start modifying things for army navy fittings. Say for instance, the stock oil cooler. How would one modify the inlet and outlet pipes to accept A/N fittings?
