Well i have been doing my research i just thought i might get some opinions from owners. I will be rebuilding and going mostly aftermarket. Goal will be right around 600hp or so. More of a long term build, want a good solid motor that i can not worry about blowing apart if i need a few more psi...

I have seen both engines perform. Yet the Ijz is much more work unless importing a car. So from ownership or research what makes one better than the other? (Not specs, just modded hp and torque numbers.)

Does anyone have access to a flow bench or have the numbers of what the factory 7M head flows? If possible i would also like any specific description of internals (cast?forged? Stroke bore and such.) I am in the market for a MK3 and was wondering specs to give me ground for my build. Thanks
