    Do i really need a 1jz flywheel?

    You dont need the 2jz flywheel. The 2jzge flywheel will work fine you just need to have a machinist drill and tap 6 bolt holes for the r154 pressure plate (if your using r154) Im using a stock rusty 2jzge flywheel on 2jz swap, I just had my buddy drill and tap it for acase of beer.
