I'll have to try out the Elise and see how it compares with a $75k budget. The Opel isn't bad, it just doesn't have much top end. 1:14 on the high speed ring as I have it set up right now.
Hmm, as I set up the Opel it's only about 2 seconds quicker than a stock Corvette Z06 on Laguna Seca... Maybe I should have said UK and gone with an Elise.
I agree that DRM is bad. However, signing up on a forum just to advertise a program is very bad taste, not to mention this is in the wrong forum section (as mentioned by JAV).
Dad's Weekend is October 27-29, so we can't do that weekend as Corvallis will be very busy. I'd like to set a date that isn't right away too so that it is less likely for people to already have plans. If people interested could post what weekend days they can not come, that'd be helpful...

You don't need a floppy drive to use fdisk... I usually use the Linux version of fdisk which is easier to use and works better anyway (doesn't matter if you're planning on installing Windows). All you have to do is boot to a Linux LiveCD (instead of a Win98 floppy boot disk). Then the WinXP...

Actually the stuff is supposed to be non-conductive. You should still apply carefully. You only need enough to ensure good contact between the processor and the heatsink. Too much thermal compound and it will make it worse...
