Curious--How many Maft Pros in MkIII

No, only if you are using part throttle tracking, which requires a wideband.

    Power steering rack boots

The sst is a big tube that slides over the rod with a crows foot on the end, you dont need it. You can use a large crescent wrench, or channel locks if you're careful. Pay attention how the lock washer is on the inner tie rod end.

    Power steering rack boots

^^^Agree totally on setting toe/alignment, but I wouldn't reccomend taking other side apart unless needed, just because you may do more harm than good. I needed a torch to get mine apart, try spraying the adjusters and outer tie rod with rust penetrant a day before.

Why does everyone prefer the 1J over the 2J motor?

    I have a Master's degree in sarcasm;) I love my 7m even though it's inferior to a 2JZ, they're all good.:icon_razz EDIT....my 7M is not inferior to a 2JZ

Why does everyone prefer the 1J over the 2J motor?

I used to think 1J's sucked, but now that Hero and Kyle have them, they have to be cool!! My preference doesn't have any J's;)

    89-92 Tranny

I'm with Nick, and there were some valve body improvements made, change from steel to rubber check balls. Using ABS in non ABS should be no problem, but if you go the other way you'll need to swap sensor ring and sensor. Older GE in an 89 GE I would think ok.

    Aftermath of Intercooler install :(

How do you get an internal boost leak in an I/C...lol...the boost leaks into the other boost?? It would have to be air / water for that to even be possible. I would have to lean toward coincidence.
