the list i am sure is the turbos where diff on 2jz jdm vs 2j usdm one was steele blades one is ceramic jdm. jdm was 440 cc usdm 550 cc injectors i think the cams where diff as well i might be missing some stuff...

you can use the stock r154 transmission in both set ups. the 2jz is a lil bigger some say firewall issues where u have to bang out like a half in i myself dont see it the 2jz will hold alot more power in the long run. what is ur goal for the car? i am going 2jz there is so much more out there...

ok so i am trying to find a 2jz to drop into my 89 i am haven a hard time finding onethat is not jdm. the prob with this is that they are only 280 bhp and us i think is 320 what is the diff? i heard it just fuel injectors idk. what could i do to the jdm one to bring it to the 320 or more bhp...
