Just leave the EGR probe in place. It will cause no harm.

    Modifying a California spec Supra

The secondary Ox sensor goes in a bung on the downpipe (non-turbo only). Everything else is the same as on federal cars. Your best bet is to swap in a non Calif ECU. Uses the same ECU connectors and is plug and play.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Think about the fact that the full braking force is being loaded onto the out lips of those red bushings. which are squeezed between the LCA eye and frame. So several tons of force on a sliver of polyurethane. Now image the arm actually moves due to a bump or other road imperfection, then that...

Help me troubleshoot 3 ABS Codes

I suspect running means moving. My ABS has never given me any trouble so I really don't know how it behaves when there is a code present. Do you hear the self-test hiss when the car starts moving for the first time?

Help me troubleshoot 3 ABS Codes

I also assume you ran through this checklist. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=BR&P=71 I think the diag light is working correctly if it only blinks when stopped. The TSRM says: "Hint: The warning light does not show the diagnostic codes when the vehicle is...

Help me troubleshoot 3 ABS Codes

Well, the dumb answer would be that the "check" connector on the actuator is unplugged. That is the only way I know to get it to flash codes, assuming you do not have a supermonitor.

The MSC-6K is just too big for the space I have. The maxjax gets out of the way when I don't need it which is great.

I've got a maxjax. Bought it from Costco for ~$2k. http://www.costco.com/Dannmar-MaxJax%E2%84%A2-2-post-Portable-Auto-Lift.product.11589445.html [edit] looks like the deal they were running has expired. Price is a little higher now.

You are correct. Throttle opening does affect how fast you fall out of closed loop. This post explains the rest. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?73379-3P-s-TCCS-Disassembly-Analysis&p=2023257&viewfull=1#post2023257 Its not too hard to tell when you are going open loop, because...

For that money you will not get good optics. I was going to suggest my current favorite camera, the Fujifilm XE-2, but that is an order of magnitude off in cost.

Car not starting randomly? READ THIS (30 Amp Starter Relay Mod)

Congrats. In my experience, the simplest way to get the starter on is to remove the alternator and run a 3foot extension from the front of the engine to the starter bolts. Also, for 91/92 the starter is threaded, so that is another way to simplify the install.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

When you hit the brakes, the force of the braking pushes the arm backwards which is then transferred to the bushing which are parallel to the braking forces. The stock bushings are molded to the arm and center crush tube and resist this force by deflecting the rubber insert. This is why these...

CA Smog: Diagnosing ultra rich condition

Just remember that in mode 3 0V can indicate an open loop condition due to an issue with fuel control. You need to verify O2 cross counting using either mode 1 or by directly measuring O2 sensor voltage.
