    Pardon the Dusty engine bay!!! Here's the timeline duane. I made the mistake of attempting to use the f'd screw first... both gears were scrapeing the screws. I replaced the f'd one and they still were scrapeing. I ground a few mm off the heads and now there's no issues!

    yeah man! I dunno what happened *Shrug* See that's where I got confused... When I loosened the bolt and let the spring doall the work it got too loose for comfort, so I undid the bolt again, spun the crank a few times, then tightened it back and it was alot tighter... I think its good...

    I can turn the crank with very minimal efford, and the belt is damn near brand new, just 2k on it.

    PICTURES OF THESE SEXY GEARS BELOW!!!! I just replaced my bent stock cam gears with duanes old AEM ones. The install went way quick, much faster than I expected. Once I got around a few minor problems and got it running I hear a new and unusual whining sound coming from the cam gear...

    I'm using a Spec Stage 3 on my w58... I like it... Its a VERY stock feel, I almost wish it grabbed a bit harder. its holding my power though, and I can definatly roast up my tires if I want... I'm running @ 12PSI

    I got some new to me cam gears to replace my bent ones... Is the replacement simply going to be pulling off the cover, pulling out the plug for the bolt on the tensioner and letting the bolt out a bit? sliding the belt off the gears, putting the new ones on, and then be done? Just wanna...

    I still havn't figured out my damn idle either! I am goin gto take my TPS off and double/tripple check its in spec... block off the CSI *just to test*, and anything else that's not nessesary... i want my car to idle like the old 88... flawlessly at 650. oh, my mpg is still shitty.

    Just for reference when I have the radar detector in my car the voltage never drops below 14, idle, or otherwise.
