Well first off, its "because I can"..........but I call my car, "my car".....I am not into naming cars, I actually think its quite funny when somebody says something like " I just got a new downpipe for Betty Sue", it sounds so wrong. Name your pets not your cars.
Darryl, Canadian Tire has a great selection of metric bolts, just take one of them down and match them up. Do you need the bolts for the aluminium sump or the bottom oil pan?. I'll check today and see if I have any spares.

You can remove the rear weather seal along the back of the hood area by the wipers, it will allow for the hot air to escape, but when you turn your vents on it will be blowing warm air from the engine bay. I would flush the coolant system, and bring a few jugs of water, and possibly a new 180...
You guys are in luck, BIC just made some pre 89 poly motor mounts and trans mounts this week. I have been driving with them for a few days now and they are great!!!!. There is more engine vibrations transmitted to the car but way less than solid Aluminium or steel mounts. The engine barely moves...
So will the MSD Dis 6 work too?, I assume it will have to be set up as a 3 cyl and have each output split into two cylinders, and run as a waste spark setup?. I have a 1jz which will be a little different.
Slow, pm me with a price on the Dis 4.
I reccomend a DBB SP61/ T61 if you are looking for 500-600 whp. I run one on my 1j with a .58 a/r housing and I love it!!!. It makes boost as soon as you put your foot down, and full boost at 3700 rpm. I made 370 whp at 15 psi and 420 whp at 17 psi with a really rich tune. Some mk4 guys have...
I have a set on my car too and they are great, I think it has the perfect ride. I never noticed much of a difference with my old tems shocks, I have also used KYB GR2's which were way to soft. I would reccomend them if you can find them.

I am not talking about the old skool MSD 6a box, I mean the Digital 6 (DIS-6), box.......I just need to know if it will work on the 1jz ignition system.
Found here: http://www.msdignition.com/ignition_18_6520.htm
Porting the wastegate hole should help control the boost better, you can take about 1/8" off, along with blending in the leading edge of the hole in the turbine housing..............It just goes to show you how restrictive the stock IC, piping and exhaust is.
If you live in Canada you can register them under the 15 year old import law. We have tons of RHD JZA70's, Skylines, Hilux p/u trucks and everything in between. Here in Vancouver I actually see more Skylines than MK4 Supras......almost daily. Next year the Mk4's will be legal for importing...
Just wondering if anyone has used one of these MSD Digital 6 on the 1jz?. It has multiple spark below 3300 rpms, and caps dischrage like the HKS twin power. It also has launch control and rev limiter. I am having some spark blowout at 17+ psi and hope that this would cure that, along with launch...
A T4 .96 a/r is way too big for a 7m on the street. Most guys use a .68, .70 a/r, and even with these they will make full boost at 4000-4500 rpms. I use a .58 a/r on my 1jz with a T61 and I love it, it makes full boost at 3700-3800 rpm, but the power does drop off a little in the top end.
Yes it is an EGT (exhaust gas temp) sensor. It is just hooked up to the warning light on your dash. It shouldnt affect milage or anything. Most 1jz swap guys here run without them with no negative effects. I have heard of some people installing a resistor inplace of the sensor so that the ECU/...
I am running the Nightpager Kit with 350Z track rotors, 300zx 4 piston calipers with Hawk pads. I actually bought the kit from twinturbozs . I tried to install some mk4 tt rotors before I had the 350 z ones, but didnt like the result. Here is some FACTS:
1. MK4 calipers will not bolt on...
I have the Earls lines on my car and they are great!!!, the rears even have a spring type thing on one end of the line to prevent kinking of the rear lines. I have put these on a few cars.

The Aristo brackets are quite different and wont work. They place the engine in the wrong place and they also stick out too far from the block. The rubber mount itself will work but not the brackets. BIC makes the pre 89 swap brackets and 89+ jza70 style brackets.
BTW you will also need a...
