One of these things is not like the others.

The cause of the problem was a broken wire to the fuel injector plug. *sigh* what a relief. Engine runs perfect.

Yes, I should have been. My teacher shot down damn near my entire paper so I have to work on that again today. Stuff looks great though!

    ECU, Deceleration, and You!

That seems like that 'little bit' that is left over sure burns a long time. As the answer isn't something blatantly obvious I don't feel foolish anymore :)

    ECU, Deceleration, and You!

:rofl: That's what I was thinking. The throttle plate is closed, the TPS is shut, I thought no fuel. Here's a really stupid question. at least in my eyes. I feel a little silly asking :) If there's no combustion, why does it sound like there is? You can hear a beautiful...

    Battery going dead overnight!

That's what I was getting at ;) The TSRM says anywhere from 20 to 70 milliamps are acceptable. If its not the TSRM, then Toyota says it.

    Battery going dead overnight!

Just curious, but how much current does it take to light up a test light?

    Fuel Injector/Coil pack lines

Thank you. The more and more thinking I'm doing of my problem, I seem to be focusing on the wiring to the fuel injector. ( No proof/evidence of this problem yet ) If I were to test #3 fuel injector plug, what would I want my meter to tell me, with ideal conditions? I would THINK...

    DSLR Tips

I should have my hands on a Cannon XTI to take to Centralia. Being as I'm more of a point and shoot type of guy, can anyone give me any tips on taking awesome shots of the great cars that'll be there? I know great photography is something that comes with time, but I have a pretty badass...

One of these things is not like the others.

Its all good, it was a good suggestion. My Dad was the first to suggest it. Scared the hell out of me to even try :D I'm going to run it a bit more to make sure that #3 is going to repeat what happened ona new plug. Then I am going to switch the injector. I'm not running lean, so I'm...

If you don't mind waiting a bit (week or two) I can get you a deal on the red top.

One of these things is not like the others.

I swapped coil 2 and 3, at the same time replacing the spark plug with a new one. I drove for about 15 miles, boosted a few times. identical symptoms. I pulled the #3 plug and its starting to get build up on it, not near as bad though. #2 is still perfect. I'm going to put more miles on...

    ECU, Deceleration, and You!

What does the ECU do with spark and fuel when you're decelerating in gear? Ex: 3rd gear, 4,000 RPMs, no throttle What's happening with fuel and spark? No fuel, I safely say, I know, but what about spark? I know its a pretty basic question but I just want to make sure I...

    Fuel Injector/Coil pack lines

Where, physically, do the wires for the coil packs run? Are all four wires going to the ECU? If so, great, I can find the pinouts. Where, physically, do the wires for the injectors run? I know the fuel injector resistor is in line somewhere..... Thanks :)

    I'm a little concerned.

:o I just re-read my post and it didn't convey what I was trying to communicate at all. I did not see any liquid oil, no. I assumed it was oil based on the color and smell. Now that there is zero oil on the ground, I would, again, assume its either come from inside the engine, or not...

    I'm a little concerned.

Alright, I took a look under the car earlier today and there is no oil. I would think if there is a oil leak big enough to cause so much smoke then at lesat a little would drip after the car's off. I'd think. There's no oil at all. I guess the hunt will continue once he gets back into...

    I'm a little concerned.

Cory and I picked his supra up from the mechanics today. They rebuilt his turbo feed/drain lines, wrapped his manifold, a few minor other things, and put his turbo back on after a fresh rebuild from PT. On the way home I noticed at a stop light, when I would give the engine a bit of gas I...
