A JZ would take the longer pulls due to a higher redline but the 1UZ would jump head every time.
That can change with an addition of cams and jeeez, what a race that would be. :ugh:
EDIT:
I would vote starter connection. A lot of people forget the ground to the engine block and that can cause all kinds of crazy stuff. A chassis ground alone isn't enough.
Take the starter to be checked out and rebuild if needed.
I spoke to Ian about this and he told me Toyota did a...
Yes.
I know Albert/Dustin(Can't remember which one) told me he had to notch the bracket. I will update this in a few minutes.
It seems like you will have to cut a lot but have you tried to mount the compressor to the block with the pump. Something is not right as it looks to be off by a...
The excuse people use are the limitations by the emission standards.
I find it BS, although, there are limitations, look at what Ford did with the mustang. I never liked the 4.6, I'm a 5.0 fan but this new model and Coyote motor is badass.

HPF makes a Feramic disk that is specifically for drag and constant passes. I just sold one, it cost a pretty penny but gets the job done...
I agree with both of you. That has to be a horrible motor. I did the alternator on it, not as bad but the radiator had to come out because it is so crammed. The engine temperature sensor is also a fun one. :ugh:

:dunno:

Really, the clock dims? I have never paid attention to that, probably because my super bright cluster. LOL
That would be the case but we have the lamp light for that which annoys me as everytime I see it, I check all the lights and everything is good. -__-
So I was trying to figure out why a 2002 Sebring's A/C would not function. The A/C would not work, but after checking the continuity of all the wires I knew something had to be bad. The compressor relay had power and when jumped, the compressor would come on. The switches were replaced by a...
