The 89+ version is now available. Neither www.shineautoproject.com nor ebay has been updated.
Since this is not a classifieds thread, please PM me if you want to order the 89+ version.
It could either be bolted on or molded in.
This project is not that difficult. Buy hella 90mm modules and the mouning plates. When u have them, send me a pm and I will let u know how to build it.
Nick could make the enclosures made for you, for around $400.
If there is enough demand, then it is possible.
To all the pre89 guys that want it, you guys could start a "Pre-89 Shine Air-guide" thread and show that there is demand. :naughty:
Well, not everyone can be please...oh well.
Carbon fiber is available in either plain or twill. A CF airguide on a white car will look good. Personally, If I had a white car, unless I had either other CF or black parts on the car...I'd just get the fiberglass version and paint it white.
Here's the first one produced by Shine installed on car, with a Shine replica Trial lip. It's carbon fiber, but it doesn't look glossy because it was sanded in preparation for a flat black look. It will be shot will a flat clear coat.
BTW, this car is actually purple under direct sunlight...
Yes, you cut the grill put the air guide in. Mounting is installer's discretion. I'd mount it with double-sided tape and nuts/bolts.
Volk Racing GT-S
You have to cut the grill. There is no stock hardware to be reused; mounting method is up to the installer.
