There use to be a pdf (or excel?) document somewhere which listed all of the bolts with their size/thread information. Maybe someone here can supply it and then you can just got to some place like Fastenal.
Good luck with the rebuild! When you put the valve covers back on use hex headed bolts instead and add some star lock washers to them as well. The covers will never come loose again.
Here is a youtube video of an MkIII in TN which is finished now but the owner has yet to add more video of it out on the road. He kept the slushbox the motor was coupled with and was the first in the US to complete the swap into an MkIII if I recall correctly...
I'll get pics up later tonight of the car it is going in. There are two others in the US that I know have finished and are on the road now (MkIII's, don't know about other generations). One in NY and the other in TN. The one in TN has a youtube vid up of it starting and idling but hasn't...
Don't worry, you'll get used to it...then want more! I remember when I went from NA four bangers and rotaries to the boosted Supra and just the amazing feeling of the stock power of the 7M-GTE over my previous cars. Unfortunately I've gotten use to it now so I've decided to pursue an engine...
Women working on any cars are hot. I got lucky as well since my wife grew up in a family of gearheads/greasemonkeys, although they were all into domestic muscle. I have slowly gotten her to accept some imports, lol. We use to have an identical pair of 1st generation RX-7's (except for the...
Short update, parked the Supra yesterday after a final wash and detail plus running all over town one last time to have a bit of fun and run the gas tank down naturally ;)
Engine and transmission are now mostly prepped for being pulled. Wiring harness and shifter need to be removed from the...
Here is the motor in its transport vehicle. It is now on a pallet in the garage waiting patiently to be cleaned and sorted.

Thanks! Flywheel should be here next week or the week after once machining is finished. Originally should have been here early this week but the original machinist involved wanted more money so the fabricator took it to a different machinist and I get a $50 refund to boot :)
ECU, igniters...
The 1UZ-Powered Supras site will follow my project build as I swap out the 7M-GTE engine in my 1987 Toyota Supra for a 1993 Lexus SC400 1UZ-FE engine. I will keep a detailed project log on the site for all to view and refer to as well as provide links to various sources such as other...
I hear that. I got lucky since I'm only about 30min from it. I ended up being the only Supra there and some ricer honda civic won best import. I don't mind not winning since my car is no where near show quality, but there were plenty of other nicer imports there that should have won. Plenty...
It would be nice to meet up with other Supra owners. It was a shame I was the only Supra at the recent GVSU fall car show. :( If someone would put together a Lansing meet, either at one of the parks or at a restaurant like BW3's I'd be in for sure. After the end of October, the Supra will be...
If you guys care to grace us with your presence on the west side of Michigan, GVSU's car show is coming up on September 29th.

Anyone have a spare TPS laying around? Tested mine this weekend per the TSRM and its lacking both the voltage at E1 on the ECU and two of the contacts are out-of-range when I measure its resistance. Both signs of a bad TPS :(
This was a big "work on sorting out the car some more" weekend...
There's a Supra here in Muskegon, MI that has a borg warner turbo with M trim. Saw it on eBay recently and I think xceedspeed.com's forum. You could probably contact the seller.
