Still struggling with the car starting. Im gonna replace the spark plugs again. Ive uploaded my map, if i could get some input on it that would be much appreciated.
I am can get the car running occasionally on 4 spark teeth and 12 fuel teeth. However its supposed to be 12 spark and 24 fuel...
Thanks for the response! Yea I was using all the numbers from stock map. I lowered it significantly since then. But it looks like I might be lowering it a bit more yet.
Well I got the car to start, takes about 3 tries though. :/ Once I got the car started it shot up to 3.5k rpms. I shut the car off immediately for fear of any damage. Im a bit scared to start the car again haha. I checked have the TPS all set up, voltages, throttle analog input. The tps is at 0%...
Hello all, Im having some issues getting my car started. Im thinking im not getting enough fuel for a good startup. If I pump the gas a little bit the car almost wants to start up. I have FIC 850cc injectors but am running the same numbers as the Stock 1130 map. Crank Inject all is on, fuel pump...
Thanks for the response. I wasnt aware of that. I was thinking I had to do something with the wiring again lol. I did another little test today and switched a clip from #2 injector to the #1 injector. And cylinder #1 was flooded again, so I think I have a bad injector.
Ill give that file a look. Although since I have sequential injection wired up I dont see it helping me out that much. Ill compare the files though.
I did a little more testing today with some help from a friend. Currently injector number 1 is getting way to much fuel and flooding the cylinder...
Im having a couple of issues with my 7m and getting it to start and stay running. I got the car to start briefly, it fired up and ran up to about 2k rpms then it stalled out. Is this when the engine start map switches over to the idle map? Now when I try to start the car it just clicks, no...
Alrighty! So i fixed the issue and it ended up being really simple hah. The clip going into the harness in the dash wasnt as snug as it should have been. While I was checking the relay/resistor are in the engine bay. I followed the wiring back and noticed the clip wasnt all the way in. Those...
Here is the relay setup. Red wire going straight to the fuel pump power.
Black is my ground going to the battery.
Black with red stripe is the stock fuel pump power wiring for the ignition switch.
And the Pinkish color with the inline fuse is going to the battery.
Hello all. First of all the car has been heavily modifiied. This is not at all stock.
1. The fuel pump has been rewired for the 12v mod. Followed shaeff's tutorial, and re checked all connections to the relay. Removed the stock relay and resistor. Spliced resistor wires together. Made a jumper...
I dont have enough room on the drivers side to fit both the ground and power. So I ran it from the passenger side. I wont have enough welding cable anyhow. So if I mount it in the same place as the picture, then run a cable from that spot to "A" on the tsrm, that would be just as effective...
I recently relocated my battery to the trunk, bought some 1 ga welding cable and ran the ground all the way to the front. I plan on grounding to the motor mount shown in the picture. Should i be getting a grounding strap and run that off of the motor mount and to the chassis? And are their any...
Hello everyone, I purchased the C.O.P ignition mod parts from two seperate people. So I was wondering which wire should go where on the clip.
Thanks for your time.
