Same story with my car, PO proved they did a full rebuild, all new gaskets. Drove it 4000 miles and pop! 300$ and a couple weekends later I had a good running car again.

Go to google, search for TSRM (online toyota supra repair manual). It will tell you how to replace head gasket effectively. Also there is a vast majority of folks on this website that have gone through head gasket failure, so if you have any questions about whatever part your stuck on just ask...

Syclone engine, had no idea what I had untill I pulled the oil pan, normally gm 4.3 v6's come with 2 bolt mains. There is no turbocharger currently on this engine and I don't plan on installing one.

That trick only works for removing that bolt. Use a puller to get the pulley off, safesty/easiest way.
