Ya the rubber hose was in between the accordian hose and a big nipple into the block. Id post a picture of it but its at an orielys where the hose blew off a few miles away so im having it towed...again:nono: Besides this everything works fine lol
Well there was an oil line running from the bottom of the turbo that the guy before me rigged up with a heater hose... I think its the nipple your talking about but i found the culprit. Only problem is when i got the heater hose off it tore and i cant get to it unless its on a lift
Im pretty sure the vacuum lines are hooked up wrong but I'm not entirely sure. Ill take a few pictures after I mess with a little bit. Ha yeh more than likely not going back to him.
And its bone stock...minus the random baby blue vacuum hoses the kid before me put it in....
Well to start off I drove the car home from my mechanics shop today after getting a new turbo put it in. My only problem is the wastegate isn't opening so the turbo isn't building boost. My mechanic said he didn't know how to hook the vacuum hoses up to the turbo correctly. So does anyone have...
