If it can take 1,500+ RWHP with a 2 speed powerglide launching off of a trans brake, it can take anything.
I ran a Driveshaft Shop one for years. (It's what we used to sell at Supracentral/AAP) -- never had a problem, very smooth at high speed.
You just need to be sure that whatever you get is very well balanced.
You're getting compression into the oil jacket and the water jacket. Sorry man - bad news - that motor is toast.
If you're very lucky, all it needs is a headgasket. However you won't know until you tear it down and understand why it blew in the 1st place. Either the current MHG was installed...

When working with aftermarket fasteners, always follow the recommendations of the manufacturer of the fastener.
Also, be sure to follow all instructions - if they give you a spec and it says "with molly lube", be sure you use the lube for that.
Red Line MT-90 75W90 GL-4 Gear Oil is perfect for the W58 and R-154.
Red Line 75W90 GL-5 Gear Oil is perfect for open diff rears. (Don't use it in the trans - too slick for the synchros)
For limited slip rears, the above is fine but also use the Ford Friction modifier or the Red Line Friction...
