    are you sure you`re not reading the "model no." on the aluminum plate on the firewall?! all toyota`s had the info plate on the firewall until 89. all u.s destination models are "ma70-xxxxx"... you will also find your color code there and axle code etc.

    you can remove your stock fan clutch, separate it, and buy 2 bottles of coupling silicone from the dealer, fill it back up, and ta-da...you`re set for no more than about $20. toyota part# 08816-03001.
