I have a good running GE thats in my Cressida and I bought a Supra Turbo with rod knock. I want to rebuild the GTE with my GE rotating assembly. As long as the GTE block is in good shape will it be a problem for me to put the GE rotating assembly into the GTE so I can utilize the stock turbo...
As long as you don't have the California ECU if you block off the EGR it should be fine. The cheapest place to get the blockoffplates is arizonaperformance.com you'll need the one that bolts to the side of the upper intake manifold if you already have the one on the back of the engine. Also the...
Like he said make sure your compressor clutch is engaging. If thats not engaging check the voltage at plug that plugs into the compressor with the ac switch on. If you have voltage then its probably safe to say your compressor is junk and you'll have to get a new one and have your ac recharged...
No problem, hope it works for you because I was looking on the forum for about an hour before I finally found that. I added it as a favorite page on my internet browser because its such a good write up.
Apply a descent coat of moly lube on the threads going into the block and where the nut will go on. When I did my headgasket I found it easiest to place the head on first before the studs. Then drop each washer into the head holes, after that thread the nuts on part way on each stud then drop...

Yeah, I just ordered one from my Toyota Dealership I forgot what the part number was or the name of it but it costed about $40. They should be able to bring up a page that has the cam covers and the hose on it and other various pieces that has the part numbers on it. Then just point at the one...

in my opinion i don't really like the looks of body kits on the supra except the bomex add on kit. comes with sideskirts rear add ons and a front lip. although you would have to get a new front bumper cover. also in my opinion the 89+ looks alot better.
