My door mirrors-housings need replacing. I have seen the open wheel types that are on the market. Does anyone have any leads on any other door mirror units (a track look is what I'm after) that can replace originals. '87 mk111

Two questions: 1. I need clarification, my local tire shop says that I cannot replace the shocks on my '87 turbo (electronic shocks were stock) with aftermarket coilovers? I see numerous shocks on the market, tien, tokico etc... 2. If I have lowering springs (eibach) installed on existing Monroe...
