I'm not sure if this topic belongs in the 7M-GTE section but here's my question: can I use a rear catalytic converter to replace the front-pipe converter? Does front-pipe converter make a big difference in emission?
My front converter and the rear converter were destroyed...
Actually my car does exactly the same thing when the A/C is on too! I'd like to know what's causing this as well. I've been looking for answers but nothing has come up...

^ Thank you for your quick response. I actually changed the O2 sensor about a month ago and the black smoke problem went away (although it did lope once in awhile). I changed the O2 sensor that's attached to the turbo. There's another O2 sensor??

I have a 7M-GTE (Automatic) 140,000 miles. My car is completely stock aside from Blitz BOV. My car is having these symptoms and I was wondering if anybody is kind enough to give me some hints;
1) When coasting at around 2500RPM at around 65MPH, the car seems to run fine...

I've been searching for awhile to find out what's causing my car to lope. However, I couldn't quite narrow down the answers so I decided to ask everyone here...
Here are my details:
1989 Supra Turbo Automatic
Mods are very simple:
-Blitz SS BOV
-3 in. CAT back...
I think the US models won't have much of a good collector's value unless it's bone stock. In Japan however, the Turbo-A models are still quite expensive because they're rare. So I think Turbo-A will be worth a lot more in the future.
BTW, I hate Fast&Furious series with passion... That...
That is ridiculous... Imagine the danger to the driver and the people around the car when the covers come off and gets stuck between the wheels or the brakes... :3d_frown:
